minimum approach

Our “warm-up” homework for intro to fabrication is to make a flash light. Before the actual making, I did a little of brainstorm and quick research online to try to come up with something “outside-the-box”. I sketched out some ideas of utilizing florescence, saltwater,  fruit or aluminum and cooper plates.

However, after planned out all of the above with material, I decided to go with the most simple approach – a button battery, a LED light and a plastic box I found in the “Junk”. In the end, the best flashlight is the one that can be turned on instantly when you most need it.
